Important Information For This Years Event

  • Please be sure to visit the DISH TO PASS/SUPPLY SIGN UP SHEET to page to learn how you can make this event great.
  • If you wish to compete please read the rules and be sure to fill out a entry form or contact Matt McMullen with your entry.
  • Be sure to read the BBQ itinerary for important times   
  • Remember to enjoy yourself responsibly use designated drivers or spend the night camping in the vineyard. ​


Itinerary

Friday August 21:
10:00 AM Grounds open for contestant setup/ Grounds open for camp setup for those wishing to spend Friday night
5:00 PM Horseshoe tournament
7:00 ish, dinner-hot dogs, chips, and beans
8:15 Ceremonial campfire lighting with brief opening ceremony and toast.

Saturday August 22:
8:00 AM Gate opens to all
8:15 Competitors bloody marry bar (located near cotone vineyards bbq pit)
8:30 30th annual Parade of smokers/BBQ's
10:00 Spare rib competitor meeting....mandatory.....
12:00 A super sweet and awesome gourmet luncheon for competitors
3-4:00pm Recommended time for non competitors to arrive
4- voting slips handed out
6-6:15 PM all foods placed out for eating. (if competing label your entry so people know who it is. 
8:15= ????? Closing ceremony and campfire

Sunday August 27:
9:00 AM Breakfast
10:00 Help Clean Up
1:00PM Grounds close.
