Grapevine Anatomy

My. Goal on this page of our website was to provide information in regards to those looking to understand the grapevine and how it functions. below you will find information taken from our vineyard and what we know, what we have learned, and what we would like to learn.

The time lapse above is of a Concord grapevine from a little past bud break to full leaf and shoot development. It was really interesting to see the pinks turn green.  I also found it interesting that growth and progress for this young vine did not stop at night. It slowed but still continued during night.
